If you’re looking for a little Easter recipe inspiration, we’ve got you covered. From brightly colored eggs to a breakfast or brunch worthy of a holiday celebration, you’ll find the recipes gathered together for you right here. Dessert? Well, I’ve got plenty of delicious ideas about that! Coloring Easter eggs this year? You’ll find simple instructions for creating beautifully colored Jewel Toned Easter eggs without a kit from the grocery store. I’ll let you in on a secret: you don’t need the kit and the colors you’ll create are even more beautiful. I’ll also share my favorite way to use up any leftovers by making Buttery Deviled Eggs. If you’re looking to celebrate at your breakfast, brunch, or dinner table on Easter Sunday, I have recipes for French Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes, Baked Donuts, and a beautiful Strawberry Puff Pancake. If you want to serve breakfast to a group, you can make a dozen Oven Poached Eggs with Microwave Hollandaise Sauce and serve everyone at the same time with ease. For dinner, I’ll be considering a few recipes for our farmhouse table. We might make Brisket Braised with Caramelized Onions, or Crispy Pulled Pork with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Spice Rub. I can’t discount a family favorite: Spring Pasta with Green Peas and Prosciutto. I’m also considering making pan seared salmon dressed with Dijon Mustard Sauce with Dill.  For dessert, I’ll probably make a batch of Mini Egg Chocolate Chip Cookies that add those delicious candy coated egg-shaped chocolates into the dough and bake up with pretty spring colors and a bit of crunch for good measure. They’ll be a nice treat to snack on all weekend long. For after dinner dessert, I have a bevy of delicious desserts to choose from. I could make Old Fashioned Poundcake with Lemon Curd or Raspberry Curd to delight our taste buds with the bright flavor of fresh fruit. There’s always my Great Grandma’s Daffodil Cake which is a sentimental family favorite as beautiful as it is delicious. If you’re looking for a scrumptious gluten free option, Flourless Chocolate Cake with Brown Sugar Meringue is gorgeous and naturally gluten free. It doesn’t require any flour, so you won’t need to make substitutions. It’s delicious and a showstopper. It’s so beautiful and delicious that your family will wonder if it came from a bakery. I won’t tell them that it’s so easy to make and you can take all of the credit! If you’d like to work a bit of berry flavor into your Easter dessert, Raspberry Curd Tartlets with Toasted Meringue Topping are a lovely option. The Buttery Tart Shells don’t need a special pan (I’ll show you how to use a muffin/cupcake pan) and can be made a day or two ahead of time to be filled on Easter morning. You can fill them with the Raspberry Curd in my recipe or with fresh berries, a bit of your favorite jam or preserves, or whatever you like and then topped with the Meringue Topping or even a bit of fresh whipped cream. I’m getting hungry just thinking about all of these delicious recipes. I hope that you are too because I can’t wait to hear what you’re making for Easter weekend. I love knowing that so many of you will be celebrating Spring and Easter with our handmade baskets this year. My daughter Emma and I are busy creating new baskets, coasters, trivets, and even a few brand-new items to keep our shop colorful and always filled with something new for you! No matter how you choose to celebrate, I hope that your Easter weekend is filled with delicious food, laughter, and memories in the making.  I’m hoping for the same along with sunshine and a nice long stroll with Penny Lane listening to the songbirds and dreaming up new and delicious recipes to share with you!
